Report: Celtics to acquire guard Jrue Holiday from Trail Blazers

The Portland Trail Blazers are trading guard Jrue Holiday to the Boston Celtics, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

Boston is reportedly sending Robert Williams, Malcolm Brogdon, the Golden State Warriors’ first-round pick in the 2024 NBA Draft and an unprotected 2029 first-round pick.

Portland acquired Holiday as part of a three-team trade that sent Damian Lillard to the Milwaukee Bucks.

Holiday is expected to make at least $34.9 million this season, and he has a $37.4 million player option for next season.
