A fire that broke out at Sahlen Field, home to the Buffalo Bisons, caused minor damage but will not cause the cancellation of Friday’s game, the team announced.
The Bisons, who are the Toronto Blue Jays‘ triple-A affiliate, also announced that no injuries were reported because of the fire that broke out Friday morning. News reports indicated the fire began in a portable concession stand along the first-base side and caused around $600,000 worth of damage.
As a result, the team said “there will be no seating allowed on the first base side from sections 118 to the right field corner” for Friday’s game against Indianapolis.
