Arsenal star Jurrien Timber has taken to social media to post an update on his current injury status, as he faces months on the sideline
Scans later showed an Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury, which rules players out for anywhere between seven-months and over one-year. It will likely rule the new signing out from playing a game this season, though it remains to be seen how his rehabilitation will impact that.

With it being a few weeks since the injury, Timber took to Instagram to post an injury update on his story. The Arsenal defender posted a picture of himself on crutches, with a strap around his left knee and the caption: “Vrijdag”, which translates to Friday from Dutch.
The new arrival could well play a part in any transfer deadline day business Arsenal partake in, with the final few hours now upon us. The Gunners could find themselves short of options in defence and when the Timber injury is factored in, it may well force the club’s hand in the transfer market.
It remains to be seen which options could be suggested to replace the youngster, while also being able to feature when he is back to full fitness.
Jurrien Timber is expected to be back to action for the Gunners in the month of March 2024, as sources say he’s healing fast and could beat the initial return date which suggested he’s out of action for the entire season.
