LeBron James is leading a group of star players who want to play for Team USA at the 2024 Olympics, The Athletic‘s Shams Charania reported Monday.
Charania reported that James is leading a group of players that also include Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant, who are prepared to commit to play for the U.S. at next year’s Olympics, which are scheduled to take place in Paris.
The U.S. placed fourth at the 2023 FIBA World Cup, losing the bronze medal to Canada in an overtime thriller. This was the first time that the United States failed to medal at consecutive World Cups since 1982.
