Winnipeg Jets centre Mark Scheifele will not play Saturday night against the Philadelphia Flyers.
Scheifele, who is listed as day-to-day, sustained a lower-body injury during the second period of Thursday’s 2-1 win over the Chicago Blackhawks.
The 30-year-old Scheifele leads the team in scoring with 41 points — 14 goals, 27 assists — in 41 games this season.
Winnipeg (28-9-4) has won eight straight games and is first in the league with 60 points.
