The injury-riddled Toronto Blue Jays have another player dealing with a health concern.
Centre fielder Kevin Kiermaier was a late scratch from the starting lineup on Friday because of lower back tightness, the team said.
Daulton Varsho moves to centre and bats eighth against the New York Yankees.
Davis Schneider moves from second base to left field, while Cavan Biggio comes in at second base.
An excellent defender, Kiermaier is off to a slow start at the plate this season with just one hit in 18 at-bats.
