Raptors’ Immanuel Quickley questionable vs. Warriors with hip soreness

The Toronto Raptors‘ recent run of health may have hit a snag.

Point guard Immanuel Quickley has been downgraded to questionable for Monday’s game against the Golden State Warriors as he deals with left hip soreness, the team announced.

Quickley has suited up for the Raptors’ last six games after missing the prior 22 games with an elbow injury. In his recent run, he’s averaging 16.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game while shooting 37.6 per cent from the field and 33.3 per cent from three-point range.

His return to the court hasn’t coincided with winning basketball for the Raptors, as they’re 1-5 in their last six and are in the midst of a five-game skid.

The 25-year-old most recently finished with 25 points, two rebounds and two assists in a tight loss to the Detroit Pistons on Saturday.

Toronto has struggled mightily of late, winning only one of its last 17 games and carrying an 8-31 record into Monday’s game against the Warriors. The Raptors are currently 14th in the Eastern Conference.

The game against the Warriors tips off at 7:30 ET. Catch the action on Sportsnet ONE or stream on Sportsnet+.
