Michael Carcone signs one-year deal with Mammoth

Michael Carcone is staying in Utah.

The Utah Mammoth signed Carcone to a one-year deal on Tuesday, according to Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman.

Carcone spent the first four years of his career with the Arizona/Utah organization. In 2024-25, the 29-year-old scored seven goals and 19 points in 53 games.

The Ajax, Ont., native posted a career-best season in 2023-24, burying 21 goals for the Coyotes while averaging just over 11 minutes of ice time per game.

An undrafted free agent, Carcone had been affiliated with Vancouver, Toronto, Ottawa and Nashville before making his NHL debut with Arizona in 2021-22.
