With Miami set to host its first Winter Classic, the NHL has unveiled uniforms on Wednesday that take a look back in time for the Florida Panthers and New York Rangers.
The sweaters, made by Fanatics, will be worn on Jan. 2 when both teams go head-to-head at LoneDepot Park.
This matchup will mark the southernmost outdoor matchup in NHL history, and the 17th Winter Classic since the tradition began in 2008.
The Panthers’ uniforms will honour Florida’s hockey history while paying homage to their local military ties.
With the Rangers celebrating their 100th NHL season, the team is extending the theme to the Winter Classic with a special uniform that complements their Centennial jersey worn throughout the year-long celebration.
In addition to the 2026 NHL Winter Classic, the Tampa Bay Lightning will host an NHL Stadium Series against the Boston Bruins on Feb. 1 at Raymond James Stadium, home of the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
