Lightning’s Lilleberg to have hearing for interference on Red Wings’ Compher

Tampa Bay Lightning defenceman Emil Lilleberg will have a hearing for an interference call against J.T. Compher of the Detroit Red Wings, the NHL Department of Safety announced Sunday.

The date and time of the hearing have yet to be determined.

The incident occurred midway through the second period of Saturday’s game with Detroit leading 1-0.

Detroit added another goal in the third period to win 2-0.

Lilleberg has zero goals and 11 assists in 45 games with the Lightning this season with an average of 15:51 in ice time.

Tampa Bay (26-19-3) is fourth in the Atlantic Division and has lost three straight. The Lightning next play Tuesday at home against the Chicago Blackhawks.
